I guess I will tell you about how I had the opertuinity to meet not everyone from soulDecision but the one and only Dave Bowman...
It was Wedensday Augest 30th 2000,at like 7:30am when my cd player went off and started to play " ooh its kinda crazy ",with tried and sqinted eyes I managed to get myself out of bed thinking only 12 hours til I got to see soulDecision appear on stage! I was very excited...
So I decied to actually get up and make my way downstairs to the bathroom took a shower and wake myself up completly..
After that I dried my hair and went to go eat breakfest tho I couldnt eat or do anything cuz I was nervous about the evening...The hours of the day went by slower then ever til about 2:30pm as I was watching my fave soap "passions" came on I heard a knock at the door not wanting to get up I did and found it was like my sister in law Anrita there I brought her inside as we finished watching passions,it was about 4pm when my dad finally got home from work..
He changed and we were already ready.We hoped in my dads 318i BMW and we were off leaving Niagara Falls to go to Six Flags Darien Lake in Buffalo NY...Not knowing in a few hours was I going to meet Dave I was still very excited..
We got to the park at about 5:45pm and there was already a line up for people to see " Christina Aguilera,SoulDecision,Sygnature,and Destiny's Child "...
6:30pm came around and they finally opended the doors..
I was kinda disapointed in the seats that we had we were in the 500 section... we had soon come to find that Anrita's seat didnt exsist so we called the staff over and they called over someone on the Chrsitina Aguilera crew and they moved us to 9th row from the stage.. I was soo happy and excited I totally wassnt even thinking about meeting soulDecision! as I impaiently awaited til soulDecision came on I saw a girl at the egde of the stage that was wearing a souldecision tee shirt,so me being the nice person that I am I went up to her and we chatted for about 10mins and then she said I know souldecision I was like are you serious thats soooo cool..
Then I went back to my seat I grabbed my camera and went back to talk to her then outta the Blue Dave from soulDecision came out,and he was talking to her,he didnt say anything to me at that time but I got some really good pictures,after he went back to his bus I sat at my seat totally shaking and could not belive how close I had come to a guy from soulDecision.. Anrita tried everything to calm me down but nothing worked.. I was way too hyped up..
I got up to go see how my dad was doing back in the 500section as I heard a guy say " hey girl in the black tight leather pants and pink tank top " I turned around and walked over to him soon I realized he was a dj on one of my fave radio stations ( 107.9 energy 108 )I was like hey whats up..I had to go but I soon returned and the first band came out "sygnature" I really didnt care much for then bout 20misn later soulDecision came out i jumped on my chair right away and was soooo happy I was screaming my head off and was having the best time of my life! they sang about 7 songs and werre done through the whole souldecision show I noticed that Kenny ( the dj guy ) kept paying a close eye on me but I just shurgged it off not thinking anything of it! Destiny's Child soon came on when I saw Steven McGrawth the drummer from soulDecision come out I ran right to him and asked for his autograph and for a pic and then asked when trevor dave and ken would come out and he said shortly..I was soooo excited I like couldnt breathe I was watching Destiny's Child until Kenny waved at me and yelled for me to go to him..So I did as he told me,when he said " Steph have you ever met soulDecision " I responed " No but I wish I have " and he looks at me and said " your dream is about to come true wait here " I was not thinking that trevor dave or ken was gonna come out,Kenny came back in about 5mins with Dave behinde him and said " Stefani I would like you to meet Dave" I didnt know what to do so I just threw my arms around him and was thinking in my head " ohhhh my god "hehehe I grabbed my camera and took pics and then got his autograph he told me that he would be back in a few mins he just had to go do something.. soon enough he came back I told him I wnated to meet Trevor and Ken but the stupid sercurity wouldnt let me go by even tho I was with Dave ( that pisses me off ) anyways and he said he would get a pic and the autographs of them for me and so he did I was sooo happy : ) I told him I wnated him to meet my dad and so he did they talked for about 10mins.. I was soo happy.. until then he had to go! : ( I was mad cuz the best night of my life was coming to an end! Until we said goodbye and kinda just by like not knowing said goodbye and kissed lightly...I was so happy!
The concert was awsome but was over! By this time it was about 11:30pm and we didnt even get out of the parking lot til about 2am.. then we ended up gettin home at like 4am... I ran up to my room put on the soulDecision cd turned on my computer and looked at their pictures and said to myself " was this just a dream " but it wasnt I met Dave!!! :)
It was soooooooooooo awsome!he is sooo sweet & nice!
I love em even more now :)

I havent been doin much with this site lately cuz I have been working like crazy and school is alot too!
